On the 5th April 2013, KarmaFlights.org and Frontiers Paragliding of Nepal proudly announced a partnership to provide educational assistance to local Nepali villages supporting Paragliding.
This assistance is provided through the KarmaFlight Program: on the 15th day of each month in the flying season (October - December & February to April), Frontiers Paragliding and all of its pilots will donate the entire proceeds of 6 flights to KarmaFlights.org to help in the education of children in Nepal.
KarmaFlights.org is a charity effort of tandem pilots worldwide, and which has provided support to the needs of children in Nepal since 2011.
The two organizations have partnered to combine resources and focus to ensure that optimal solutions are achieved. The organizations will initially focus on the villages of Sirkot, Galem, Sarangkot and DikiDanda.
"It is very gratifying to see the paragliding community support in Nepal for education at the local level, and we are thrilled to be partnering with Frontiers" said Matt Cone, KarmaFlights.org director, "their knowledge and experience in philanthropy here is long and deep and will be a great asset to our efforts."
"We have been very impressed with the efforts of KarmaFlights.org since arriving here in 2011" said Adam Hill, founder of Frontiers Paragliding, "their worldwide tandem team and enthusiasm for Nepal will help us take our efforts up another level."

Money goes a long way in Nepal. $15 covers the costs for a child’s books, uniforms and supplies for one year of education. $100 can pay the annual school expenses of a child living in a village near one of the paragliding sites we fly.
