About Frontiers Paragliding

As the first paragliding company in Nepal, we have been working together with the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) and Federation Aeronautique Internationale (FAI) to promote paragliding as a major sport in the country. With 13 years experience of flying the Himalayas we are unrivalled in our knowledge of the conditions, sites and culture of the area.

Our head office is in Pokhara, the beautiful lakeside town 150km west of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. Located in a broad valley at an altitude of 800m, the reliable climate of this region allows consistent and friendly conditions for the paraglider pilot. It is not surprising that in a few short years Pokhara has gained the reputation amongst pilots from around the globe as flying heaven.

The UK side of things is run by Adam Hill a paragliding instructor and his wife Jennifer an anthropologist specialising in the Gurung people of Nepal. They have been living, working and flying there for the past 13 years. In Nepal, Adam runs the school, flies tandems and guides .
